Our history
"With a rich history spanning over two decades in the real estate appraisal and sales industry, the concept of Truppraisal had been brewing in our founders mind for many years. In 2019, the initial seeds of the idea were planted, and over the subsequent two years, it underwent meticulous refinement. The turning point came in 2022 when the development process kicked off under the guidance of John Tomblin. After ten months of rigorous project scoping, the actual coding phase commenced.
To bring this vision to life, we sought the support of private investors who, fortunately, shared our enthusiasm for the project. After an additional twelve months filled with coding, testing, and the inevitable challenges that come with innovation, Truppraisal was officially founded and launched in 2024. It's been a journey of dedication, perseverance, and collaboration, and we are proud to present Truppraisal to the world, a product born out of passion and commitment to excellence."

"Founded by Tom Canale, a seasoned Certified Residential Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Broker, Truppraisal was created with a singular goal — to streamline and enhance the real estate valuation process for agents. Drawing on his extensive experience in the real estate industry, which includes ownership and management of appraisal businesses and a real estate brokerage, Tom recognized a gap between agents and appraisers.
Truppraisal was conceived to bridge this divide, offering agents the essential tools for precise evaluation of residential homes. Leveraging his firsthand understanding of the industry's intricacies, Tom designed the platform to simplify and improve the evaluation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for both agents and their clients. Truppraisal stands as a testament to Tom's commitment to innovation and his vision of fostering better collaboration within the real estate ecosystem."
